On day 11, we woke up all excited about the day to come. Expecting nothing more than a tour, we found ourselves at 3 different islands: Kato Koufonisi, Ano Koufonisi, and the back half of Naxos at the Rina Caves. With perfectly clear water, we gladly explored all the islands and their waters.

We had an amazing boat ride over to Kato Koufonisi. So, we hopped in the crystal clear water and Liam looked around. To his astonishment, he found large clumps of found sea grass, corals, rocks, different types of fish, and last but not least, we found a goat on the the beach. For the record, they called the island the uninhabited island, so this goat was very wild. After the swim in the water, we had a spectacular lunch. Not premade food from the island, food grilled on the boat.

At Ano Koufonisi, we got to look around town because this one island is actually inhabited. We did our new normal, window shopping and wandering. It was great, though along the way we stopped at a few shops and some water. Now, Liam got really lucky because he was exploring the rocks that were near the water, and almost took a wrong step, he almost walked into a sink hole in the water, about 12 feet deep.

Where Liam almost slipped.
After our second stop, we had an hour long boat ride. We went to the last stop in the Rina caves at the back of Naxos island. We went in and explored the cave. It gave off an erie vibe which creeped Michael and Liam out. We had fun though. Liam got to jump off a cliff right above the cave, and he also did a some flips off the boat which made him feel like he broke his back. So in general, we had a lot of fun on the trip. When we got back to the Airbnb, we were all tired so we showered and went to go eat. After that, we all decided that we needed to go to bed early for the big trip tomorrow.

Check out Liam mid-cliff jump!

Once again, both Sawyer boys weirdly fell asleep. Like father, like son.
