We got Liam back today, but said goodbye to Stockholm. We all loved it here, and I’m sure we will be back.

Highlights from Day 8

• We took and short train ride to Liam’s new rink first thing in the morning. We went to grab his bags to do his laundry. It was pretty surreal to take a train through Sweden farmlands and find ourselves at a very very small town…with an ice rink.
  

• When camp was through, we picked up the boys and immediately headed to Gröna Lund, the amusement park. What a perfect way for Liam to end his time with his friends. You would think 6 days straight of hockey would have worn them out. Nope!

• It must be noted that all the carnival games were to win giant boxes of candies and snacks. It was hilarious seeing people walk around carrying them. We had to convince Liam that even if he played and won, we would not be taking a giant box of Oreos on the plane as a carry on.

• Oh, and maybe he was a bit tired. This was minutes into our Uber ride back to the hotel. I’m not mad about it.
